Legacy Rescue Paint Your Pet Night
ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS!!!!
Thank you to ALL our old and new friends for coming to support Legacy Rescue dogs and thank you to Arlington Art-lounge. What an amazing establishment. We highly recommend. We all had a blast and hope to see you again at another event soon ❤️
Barktober Fest
Legacy Rescue will be at Barktober Fest!!
It will be a fun day for local dogs & their people to enjoy the season and support a good cause. Barktober Fest will include family and dog-friendly activities and events, games, live music, trick dog & sporting dog presentations, vendors, dog costume contest, and more!
Sunday, October 28th
Wright-Locke Farm
78 Ridge St, Winchester, MA
11am – 3pm
The event is free and open to the public but people are encouraged to sign up through Eventbrite – https://www.eventbrite.com/e/barktober-fest-2018-tickets-50151442314
Tickets can be purchased to participate in some of the activities. An event flyer is attached.
For vendors/sponsors/non-profits: Set-up can begin at 9:30 with all booths fully set up by 11. Booths must stay open until 3pm. Tables will be provided or you can bring your own tent if you have one. I know A-DOG had offered space to you at their table but you can have your own one if you’d like.
Prizes, giveaways and handouts are allowed, no raffles allowed though!
The farm is wheelchair accessible with parking and accessible restrooms as well. The main areas of the event (food, vendor tables, kids activities and most dog activities) are all accessible but worth noting that the surface is primarily gravel. Pet photography will be up a hillside that may be difficult to access.
Animal treats are allowed, human treats can only be provided by our approved food vendors
Barktober Fest welcomes all friendly, on-leash pups and their people. Dogs should be on a non-retractable leash no longer that 6 feet and be current on vaccinations. There will be special activities for kids so bring the whole family!
Legacy Rescue First Fundraiser
We at Legacy Rescue are so humbled by the outpouring of love and support by all the people who attended and couldn’t attend but supported us anyway for our first fundraising event. Our dogs and we were surrounded by nothing but positivity and we have raised an amazing amount to help more dogs. Kudos really go to Our Board member Robert Jensen and his fabulous hubby Dave who opened their beautiful home , hearts and time to this cause and made the day absolutely magical. Thank you to Trail Break Taco truck the most delicious tacos we ever had! Thank you to all volunteers who made the day a special day. Thank you to our fosters and adopters who took the time to speak. We are overwhelmed with love and support. Also special thanks to my daughter Brenda who took over ? Runs in the family ?
But mostly for all 100 and then some who were there to listen and support our mission. And major thanks to our dogs for making us look good ???
Thank you
Esra Gray

“It was an AMAZING afternoon, filled with so much love and support. We were simply overwhelmed with the amount of people who attended to hear Esras powerful story.
We are expanding our Legacy Family day by day with the desire to save lives and give these pups a new lease on life.
A million THANKS to all who came to the event and supported this great cause. We are forever grateful.
Onward and upward we go!”
